DIEGO PASQUALIN

DIEGO PASQUALIN – I was born in Varallo (VC)  in 1985. I have attended the Brera’s Accademy of fine arts and I have acquired with praise the BFA and the MFA. In parallel to the activity of teacher at the High School of Art D’Adda di Varallo (VC), I participate in international exhibitions and competitions. In addition, I’m doing curatorial activities in events which involve young artist. My work deal with the relationship between individual and their own body, through sexuality and loving relationship in the balance between physicality and feeling, pleasure and pain.
Sculpture and design come together in works that draw from the BDSM culture, from the fashion and the luxury, also in the choice of fine materials such as rhodoid, silver and gold.

DIEGO PASQUALIN – Sono nato a Varallo (VC) nel 1985. Ho frequentato l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera e ho acquisito con lode la laurea triennale e un biennio di specializzazione di secondo livello in arti visive indirizzo Scultura.
Parallelamente all’attività di docente presso il Liceo Artistico D’Adda di Varallo (VC), partecipo a esposizioni e concorsi internazionali. Inoltre svolgo attività curatoriale di eventi che coinvolgono i giovani artisti.
Il mio lavoro affronta la relazione tra l’individuo e il proprio corpo, attraverso la sessualità e le relazioni amorose in bilico tra fisicità e sentimento, piacere e dolore.
Scultura e design si fondono in opere che attingono dalla cultura BDSM, della moda e del lusso nella scelta di materiali preziosi quali rhodoid, oro e argento.
